Reservations & Visiting Charley's
How do I make a reservation at Charley's Steak House?
You can reserve a table online through OpenTable or by calling the location you plan to visit. Visit our Reservations page to make your reservation online.
Do you accept walk-ins?
Yes, we welcome walk-ins when tables are available, but reservations are the best way to secure the time you want, especially on weekends, holidays, and during peak travel seasons.
Is there a dress code?
We invite you to dress for the occasion and recommend a smart/business casual dress code. Gym attire, beachwear, sweatpants, tank tops, baseball caps, revealing clothing, and clothing with offensive language, images, or strong odors aren’t permitted. Our management team may decline seating to guests who are not appropriately dressed, even with a reservation.
Is parking available at Charley's?
Yes. Charley’s offers complimentary valet parking at all three locations: Celebration, Orlando, and Tampa.
Can you accommodate large parties?

The hours for all Charley’s Steak House locations are:

Are you open on holidays?
All Charley’s Steak House locations are closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, the Fourth of July, Labor Day, and Memorial Day. We recommend booking holiday reservations as early as possible, since these dates fill quickly.

How many Charley's Steak House locations are there, and where are they?
Charley’s Steak House has three locations in Florida: Celebration, Orlando on International Drive, and Tampa Westshore. Each is family-owned and serves the same steaks that have made Charley’s a destination since 1974.
- Celebration (near Disney): 2901 Parkway Boulevard, Suite 1A, Kissimmee, FL 34747, close to Walt Disney World, the town of Celebration, and US-192.
- Orlando (International Drive): 8255 International Drive, Orlando, FL 32819, in the I-Drive and Sand Lake area.
- Tampa (Westshore): 4444 W Cypress Street, Tampa, FL 33607, in Tampa’s Westshore business district. We’re moving to a new location on Spruce Street in 2027.
Is the Charley’s Tampa location moving?
In 2027, Charley’s Steak House in Tampa is moving less than a mile down the road – to the corner of West Spruce Street and North Westshore Boulevard, across from International Plaza. The new building will be nearly 30% larger, with expanded private dining and the same oasis-like feel Tampa regulars know: lowered ceilings, dimmed lighting, and a wood fire pit at the heart of the room. Until the new doors open, it’s steak as usual at 4444 West Cypress Street.

What makes Charley's steaks different?
Our steaks are cooked over wood on custom-built pits fueled by Florida citrus and oak, a method we’ve used for over 50 years. The citrus wood gives a mellow smoke that works equally well with steak and seafood, while the oak burns hot and even to keep the flame consistent on our 1200-degree pit. Combined with our secret seasoning recipe, that flavor has kept Charley’s among the Top Ten Steakhouses and Seafood Houses in America for decades.
Do you have gluten-free, vegetarian, or other dietary options?
Yes. Our menu includes a gluten-free list covering appetizers, salads, sides, entrées, and dessert, and our plant-based F U Filet Mignon is a meatless option. Our team can guide you to options that fit your needs, and we ask guests to let us know about dietary needs when they reserve or as soon as they sit down.
Can you accommodate food allergies?
Yes. Please tell your server about any allergy when you order so the kitchen can prepare your meal with care.
Is there a kids' menu?
Yes. Our kids’ menu is for ages 12 and under and offers a prime burger, crispy chicken, grilled chicken breast, or fried shrimp. Each comes with a choice of roasted garlic mashed potatoes, french fries, or sautéed broccoli, plus a soft drink and an ice cream sundae.
Can you help me choose a wine?
Yes. Our sommelier is happy to choose a wine for you, whether you’d like a bottle or a glass, to match your steak and your budget. Tell us what you’re ordering and the styles you enjoy, and we’ll recommend a pairing..
Can I bring my own wine? Do you charge a corkage fee?
Yes. You’re welcome to bring your own bottle for a corkage fee of $50 per bottle.

What kinds of events can I host at Charley's?
Rehearsal dinners, milestone birthdays, anniversaries, corporate dinners, and holiday parties are all well suited to our private rooms.

Can the menu be customized for my group?
Yes. We cater to every aspect of your event, from customized menus to award-winning wine pairings hand-picked by our sommelier.
Celebrations, Gift Cards, & Promotions
Can Charley's host a birthday, anniversary, or proposal dinner?
Yes. Milestone dinners are a big part of what we do! Tell us the occasion when you reserve, and we’ll note it for your visit to ensure your celebration is extra special.
Do you do anything special for birthdays?
Yes. Members of our VIP Email Club receive a complimentary 8 oz filet mignon for their birthday. The offer is valid from one week before to one week after the member’s birthday, and it requires the purchase of an additional adult entrée of equal or greater value, a valid driver’s license must be presented, and it is valid for dine-in only.
Do you sell gift cards?
Yes. Gift cards can be purchased online or at any restaurant location, and Talk of the Town Restaurant Group gift cards are accepted at Charley’s Steak House.

History & Brand
How long has Charley's Steak House been open?
The first Charley’s Steak House opened in 1985 on Orange Blossom Trail in Orlando. That original location has since closed, and three Charley’s locations remain today in Celebration, Orlando on International Drive, and Tampa Westshore.
Who owns Charley's Steak House?
Charley’s is part of Talk of the Town Restaurant Group, founded by the Woodsby family in 1974 and still owned and operated by three generations of the family.

Do you offer takeout or delivery?
Yes. We offer online ordering with curbside pickup. Order and pay online through the links on our website, and we’ll take care of the rest. We don’t currently offer delivery.
Is Charley's wheelchair accessible?

Are children welcome?
Yes. Children are welcome at Charley’s, and we offer a kids’ menu for ages 12 and under. High chairs are available upon request.
